New Jersey Certification
Boating Safety Certificate course
As of 1/06 all boaters operating a boat or watercraft in New Jersey waters are
required to complete a Boaters Safety Course and exam.
Who Needs a State Boating Safety Certificate?
-All persons operating any power vessel, including a personal watercraft.
How Do I obtain a State Boating Safety Certificate?
-Successfully complete a NJ approved boating safety course.
Bogans Boating School offers a Safe Boating Course.
This course will give you the certification required by law in NJ to operate Power
boats and PWC.
Private classes are also available in the comfort of your own home with a minimum enrollment
of 8 students. (All instructors are US Coast Guard Licensed.)
